Rockinghorse Children’s Charity was originally set up back in 1957 by Dr Trevor Mann, and they have been supporting babies, children and their families for more than 55 years. In that time, Rockinghorse have supported nearly a million individuals, and they are the official fundraising arm for The Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital, including the Trevor Mann Baby Unit (TMBU).

For 2024, Brighton Coffee Festival (BCF) is proud and honoured to announce that Rockinghorse Children’s Charity will be the show’s 2024 Charity Partner of choice.

Since the shows inception back in 2019, BCF has been passionate about supporting brands and organisations within the Sussex locality. Not only has the show supported non-profit organisations, but also other charity based organisations in the community in a number of different ways and means.

As BCF progresses to become a 2 day show in 2024, growing both exhibitor and visitor numbers, we wanted to extend our support to a local charity. Rockinghorse is vital to the local and wider community, and BCF fully supports their missions and goals. Not only that, but Rockinghorse are also driving campaigns such as ‘Cuppa For Kids’.

How will Brighton Coffee Festival be supporting Rockinghorse?

There are a number of ways in which BCF will be supporting Rockinghorse as we approach BCF 2024:

  • Generation of additional funds for the charity.
  • Awareness and extended reach for the charity.
  • Working with Rockinghorse to provide support for Doctors, Nurses and other NHS Professionals at The Royal Alexandra and TMBU.
  • Working with Rockinghorse to see how BCF can support families in their time of need.
  • Donations to Rockinghorse raffles & events.
